Tyrel’s story begins on a Saskatchewan farm where a childhood fascination with how things work developed. This curiosity propelled him through university, culminating in a Master’s degree in physics. While the world of nuclear physics initially beckoned, Tyrel soon realized his calling lay elsewhere.

Diverse Experiences and Well-Rounded Skillset

Though his formal education led him to the oil and gas industry and even teaching college mathematics, Tyrel’s hands-on nature craved something more. This desire for practical knowledge led him to explore the trades, honing his construction and renovation skills through extensive work on his own homes over the years.
Ever the seeker of knowledge, Tyrel enrolled in the Carson Dunlop Home Inspector Training program, widely recognized as the pinnacle of home inspector education. This rigorous training, combined with his existing construction and renovation experience, created a formidable foundation for his home inspection career.

The Face Behind the Business

When Tyrel isn’t busy building his business, he’s still always on the go, raising his three young boys with his amazing wife. When he has a moment to himself, Tyrel likes to keep himself busy working on construction projects around the home.
Community sports have always been a big part of Tyrel’s family’s lives. Tyrel strives to do his part to give back to the community and the activities that have enriched his life – including coaching his son’s baseball teams and volunteering on the board of directors of the VI Raiders junior football team. Playing for the Raiders is what initially brought Tyrel to Nanaimo and he’s keen on seeing the program succeed and positively shape future generations.
